Petition set up by parent on needing more police in Ottery

Ottery St Mary has definitely felt the loss of its former PCSO, Maria Clapp, who left about four months ago.
Maria was brilliant at sorting out low level crime, anti-social behaviour and irksome but potentially dangerous problems, such as bad parking and congestion.
The school run has become hazardous since she left as there is now no policing presence at Ottery St Mary Primary School at drop off and pick up times.
At Ottery St Mary Town Council on Monday evening, I reported that one parent has become so exasperated that she has set up a petition to try and get a better policing presence in the town.
I also told the council of the various reports I had received of anti-social behaviour in the town, which appears to be getting worse.
Here’s the petition. If you’re an Ottery resident please sign!
