Hi Claire, I just wanted to say I agree pretty much with all that you say. As a complementary therapist I would be interested to hear your views on Codex and the EU restrictions on health claims. Plus how do you stand personally on CAM? Would you welcome some sort of integrated approach to healthcare whereby GPs could refer to CAM therapists and/or include some CAM therapists within hospitals and GP surgeries? There has been a lot of therapy bashing by the media and the likes of Edzard Ernst and Simon Singh over the years, but the simple truth is that the NHS in its current form is failing a huge number of people, particularly those living with mental health problems and chronic conditions. Many, many of these have turned to CAM for support. I would be interested in your views in these issues. Kind regards, Liz.

Hi Lesley, I fully support the WASPI campaign. I have been out and about canvassing in Exeter twice last week. There are very many houses to get around in the constituency, but we will do our best to visit all of them.  Best wishes….

I would like to know your opinion on all the camper vans that can park all day and night along the sea front. To walk along to Orcombe Point is no longer enjoyable, as people are virtually using it as a camp site!!

Hello Claire, we’ve read through your manifesto and the Q&A’s above.  We agree with the majority of what you say and stand for and glad to see that this election may not be such a sure bet for the Conservatives in East Devon.  At the last election though it came across that you were anti-Cranbrook compared to other candidates, we would be keen to hear what your stance is of the proposed traveller site with 30 out of the 37 allocated pitches for East Devon being situated here.  For people in Cranbrook this is a major issue, would you/do you oppose this proportion? As Hugo has voiced his concerns about this in the past. Kind regards, Victoria & Sam.
